Michele Capobianco

Michele Capobianco along with her husband Ken have been Garwood residents for more than 30 years. Michele attended Florida Institute of Technology for Accounting, she has also earned several professional certifications in her more than 30 year Accounting and Human Resources business career. Her career includes working at Children’s Specialized Hospital, Organon BioSciences and Panasonic. Her various roles include: Staff Accountant-Budgets/Grants/ Payroll, Payroll Manager, Sr. Human Resources Manager and also Human Resources Consultant.

Michele has volunteered to serve on Garwood’s Resident Parking Committee and and has also served on the Mayor’s Citizen Advisory Panel since 2019. She attends Council meetings and has made numerous suggestions over the past several years to the Borough Council advocating for the betterment of Garwood. Michele identified and asked the Borough Council earlier this year to update several very outdated Borough ordinances and fees to bring in more revenue. Michele is eager to bring her broad range of Accounting and Human Resources expertise as well as a creative problem solving approach to Borough Council.
